Fantastic News!!

Dawn and I have just found out that CCAI is now just months away from possibly matching us with our precious baby girl!! Dawn was told that CCAI was reviewing and matching families with special need checklists that were submitted in May 2008 and our checklist was submitted in August of 2008. We are praying that this will be a speedy process and maybe in a few more months we will be closer to receiving our own child match. We hope that everyone will keep us in their prayers as Dawn and I wait patiently for more information. We are both very excited! We'll post more updates as we receive them.

Still Waiting......Keep Praying.........

Hi Everyone~



We received an email from the gift of adoption and they have moved our review date until September. We are waiting to hear whether we will receive an adoption grant. Please pray that God will show favor on us when reviewing our financial file for our adoption. I have started my new job but am not getting that many hours each week. I know God is teaching us to look to Him for all our needs and I know He is developing my character in this uncertain time. I am enjoying being able to spend more time with Him in the mornings and have started devoting more time to my health. Hannah is enjoying these walks with me in the morning. I pray that God will continue to bless us and our child with a Godly caregiver until we can bring her home. We will keep you posted as
our adventure continues to unfold.

Prayer Request

Dawn and I have been informed that the Gift of Adoption grant that we have applied for is up for review next month. Please pray for our Gift of Adoption grant to be approved and that the Grant Selection Committee will be able to provide our requested monetary amount or any monetary amount in order to help us pay for the remaining adoption fees.

Adoption Update!!!

Hello everyone. As you already know, Dawn and I have been waiting patiently for any updates about our adoption. Dawn spoke with CCAI and if everything works out, we should be in China in about eight months. We still haven't been matched with our daughter yet but we hope that this will occur sometime around Thanksgiving or before Christmas. Once Dawn and I accept a child match and complete our letter of intent, it's usually four to five months later that we will be in China picking up our daughter.

Our Official Dossier Log-in Date!!

Great news!! Our dossier has been logged in by the China Center of Adoption Affairs and our official log-in date is 20 April 2009. Dawn and I are very excited!! Pending further review of our Dossier, we should hopefully sometime in the near future receive a referral. We will keep everyone posted as soon as we recieve more information. Frank and Dawn.

Frank and I are so excited our dossier is on the way to China. We received an email from CCAI that our dossier was in route to China and that we should be logged in no later the end of June. We are very excited!

Friends and family,

We are finally finished with our paperwork and after bending over backwards in acquiring and retrieving all of our documents and clearances, our Dossier is now being processed at the Denver office and will soon be sent to China. We'll keep you posted and please pray for our adoption process.

Dawn and I are just about finished with our paperwork. We are awaiting the return of our final two documents from the Chinese Consulate and then our adoption agency will send our dosier to China. We're not sure how long it will take for China to match us with a child but we pray that God will
guide us through our journey.
